Terms and conditions of use
Rule 1: Conditions of Use, Safety, and Liability on the Water
The buyer is solely responsible for the proper use of the remote-controlled (R/C) sailboat. Before every launch, the user must verify the watertight seal of the hull, the secure closure of the radio compartment, and the correct operation of the servomechanisms (rudder and sail winch). This website shall not be held liable for sinkings, damage caused by water ingress, loss of radio signal due to local interference, or operation of the models in adverse weather and sea conditions (excessive wind, rough seas, or strong currents).
Rule 2: Warranty on Electronic and Structural Components
Models and components are covered by the legal warranty for factory conformity defects. The warranty is void immediately if electronic components (receivers, servos, batteries) show signs of a short circuit caused by water ingress (fresh or saltwater) or reverse polarity. The warranty does not cover structural damage resulting from collisions on the water, sail wear and tear, rigging breakage, or excessive servo strain caused by incorrect tensioning of the rigging or sheets.
Rule 3: Shipping, Parcel Integrity, and Right of Withdrawal
R/C sailboats and their respective masts/sails are extremely fragile goods. Upon delivery, the customer is required to check the integrity of the packaging. In the event of a crushed or punctured box, the order must be accepted strictly by signing with a "Specific reservation of control" (Riserva di controllo specifica), indicating the visible damage. The right of withdrawal applies only to new, sealed products that have never been placed in water; returns will not be accepted for models that have already been assembled, modified, or show signs of use in water or scratches on the hull.
